Translation Services

Translation Services

From commercial and technical documents to various certificates and reports, we provide translations for all different types of documents and texts.
The exchange of accurate documents such as letters and meeting minutes etc. are essential for overseas transactions. Also, having a website translated into multiple languages can potentially bring in new business opportunities. We handle a wide range of translations from general commercial documents, technical documents to all types of certifications and reports. In addition, we provide certified translations of documents such as family registers, and graduation certificates for submission to embassies.

Services we provide

General Translations:

When our clients venture into new markets overseas and undergo business negotiations with new business partners, high-quality translation services are indispensable. Through our domestic and international network, we translate a wide variety of texts including business letters, contracts, reports, company brochures, pamphlets, articles of incorporation, commercial registers, financial statements, technical specifications, technical drawings, and company websites. We translate from Japanese into a number of foreign languages including English and visa-versa.

Furthermore, if you have a document that you have written yourself and would like to have proofread, we also offer proofreading services by our native language staff to ensure that the document reads naturally in the target language.

Whether it is a short passage of text, a mixture of Japanese and another language, or a document that you would like to have translated from a foreign language into English rather than Japanese, please contact one of our coordinators with the target language of the document and your price range. We will come up with the best way to accommodate your needs that best suits you and the success of your business.

International Cooperation Project Reports/Tender Documents

Nowadays, Japanese international cooperation project reports are increasingly being made public overseas and it is paramount that foreign language translations are of the highest quality. For example, in terms of the translation of an ODA-related report, there is a need for the translator to be knowledgeable with the processes and terminology concerning such areas as ODA grants, technical cooperation, and loan aid. In addition, knowledge in various fields including medicine, civil engineering, construction and agriculture is also essential. When creating a report, there are often detailed specifics concerning format and layout that need to be adhered to so having experience with report guidelines is also necessary.

When arranging the construction of a facility or the procurement of machinery parts etc., it is usually required that tender documents be written up. As standard formats typically exist for different types of contracts and special technical specifications, the relevant guidelines for each type of document must also be followed. We can also translate architectural blueprints or device specifications and user manuals needed for supplying machine parts into such languages as English, French, Russian and Spanish etc.

We at Franchir strive to keep our translations prices as low as possible to accommodate all of our clients, even for large projects, while maintaining a good balance of excellent local and international translators, and without compromising the quality of our translations.

Technical Translations (Plant Construction, Infrastructure etc.)

Accurate and efficient translations are indispensable for large-scale projects like those in international resource development, solar and other renewable energies, the construction of power stations and substations, and other plant construction along with road, harbor, bridge, railroad and other infrastructure-related projects. Such construction works require sizable operational manuals, structural calculations, material analysis documents and other reports, and we are more than happy to help with the translations of these documents as well.

Also, as various countries, for example African nations such as Tunisia, Algeria, Mozambique in Africa, and others including Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan continue to expand internationally, there is an ever-increasing need for translations of tender documents and the like. This means that is not uncommon to see such documents published in French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese etc. in addition to English ones.

We deal not just with Japanese-English translations but translations from all these languages and more into English and vice-versa.
<Plant Construction>
In the field of plant construction, we can translate documents from all kinds of plants (petroleum, LNG tank, gas, pharmaceutical, power etc.) related to necessary preliminary designs, process designs, plumbing, instrumentation, rotary machines, pressure vessels and various other machines, light installation, fire prevention systems, and architectural specifications and drawings from the design, procurement, and constructions phases right up until the trial run phase. Our translators have plenty of experience in these areas and we pride ourselves on producing translations that are not only superior in quality but also contain the correct terminology.
